as much as I agree the short serves threw SDSU off a bit, what mattered more was not giving up a 8 or 9 point run that occured 1st set that turned a nice lead into a disaster, and the 5 and 4 point runs in the 2nd that never should have happended. scoring more with the short serves combined with no big runs made it a Beach wipe out, although they did give up a run at the end of the 4th set to make things a bit exciting at the end lol

Coaches made a change in strategy in the third set, moving more to short serves. Those serves seemed to throw SDSU off their game. This ended up being an excellent decision.
Overall, a nice recovery from the Oregon disaster.

survived two SDSU runs in the 2nd set to eke out a 25-23 2nd, which hopefully is a big boost to this team.
still the runs that some passing goes south has to improve. shanks are gonna happen and this group needs to learn to be able to handle a serve after a bad pass though
to me, Agi just doesn't look 100% as she did first week. maybe wrong, maybe part of it the passing and setting learning curve.
good win, made we wonder how SDSU beat Oregon
