Have you guys watched any tape on Mia Halsey? Very good arm and she can bring some heat. Wonder with all the uncertainty about our middles if any thought is being given to moving Hamaker back to the middle. That was her original position and it may facilitate her breaking into the lineup quickly. We have 3 middles coming in over the next 2 years and none are over 6'0 tall. Gotta wonder what the coaching staff is thinking. Hoping for a growth spurt I would assume.

A week more practice early in the season means a lot. By the time mid season rolls around not so much.

Really need two middles to step up and be a factor this year. No proven upper conference experience coming back so hopefully a newcomer or two surprises us all.

Really need the experienced left to start the season in mid season form. Both Agi and transfer Kotzakov have had their moments in the past so those two probably start the season.

However, as stated, the team may live or die with their setter play this season. Good sets can make an average player look good but also a good pass can make an average setter look good. I am hopeful that the backrow play this season will be better than some of the recent teams.

I am really looking forward to this season with so many new faces and the first year that Reagan does not have too many players coached under Tyler. Here team now.

this team is basically a 3 headed monster, with Mad Max, Agi, & King, and since King and Agi will play opposite of each other there will be at least one rotation with neither in the front row (lots of Bics to Agi I guess), assuming that'll have Mad Max in the front row with her as an option to set too.

since the season starts a bit late (Labor Day), don't know that the extra week means a lot.

it'l be an interesting season, get to see how Reagan adjusts and how demandng she/staff are with the women to build up this team and their skill set. hate that Huus is gone.

one of the new players hopefully stands out from expectations, and hopefully bring in BG to help learn/develop consistent back row play

the other programs are all rebuilding too, maybe they can finish top 3.

The NCAA issued a waiver allowing D1 women's volleyball schools to start earlier this season - July 31 start date. A lot of schools, including some Big West schools, have already started but LBSU will not start for another week. Seems odd that you would give your competitors an early season advantage. Will see if the team starts out slower than some of the others.
