This poll means NOTHING this time of year. It is probably based on what somone thinks of recruits and UCI and UCSB. All the others are a crap shoot. We could finish any where from 3-11. I am NOT imoressed with our team as recruits, but who knows??? Next year we will have a chance to finish 12th. Previous Message

LBSU is 11th (last) while Cal Poly is predicted for 3rd. Both have 2nd year head coaches. What's the difference? Cal Poly's head coach has tons of D2 experience. He knows how to deal with changing rosters every year and how to make them play as a team. UCR has a 1st year HC but they hired a D2 veteran as well. I'm pretty confident they won't finish 10th as predicted in this poll.
LBSU will most likely finish in last, as per this poll. Any players that emerge as viable D1 starters will likely transfer after the season and its back to the drawing board. This is all on Smitheran (and Conoley).
