who can dress the part, I mean sheesh 10 years of showing up looking like the Pres just got out of bed
who actually KNOWS how to raise money and inspire donors,
who doesn't count getting money thru normal channels like it's some great accomplishment
I do not care if they have a political agenda, it's a PResedent, but at least articulate your thoughts without bureaucratic mumbo-jumbo and have some academic prowess behind your thoughts,
jeez, have a pulse!!
and listen, not lecture.

I suspect the press release will be late Monday or on Tuesday next week at the CSU Board of Directors meeting. There's already an agenda item to set the new president's salary, so it's going to happen. I only ask for a few things:
1) Don't care if we get a female or male although I would be the farm its female.
2) Hire someone who is a current sitting president at a 4 year level school. We desperately need someone with experience who can navigate the turbulent times ahead. Until Jane, we always hired sitting presidents...and look at how that turned out.
3) This next person can't have a social or political agenda. Needs to be narrowly focused on making LBSU the best it can be academically with the best students it can get, regardless of race, gender, California resident or not.
4) The next person doesn't have to micromanage athletics but he/she needs to have the A.D. report directly to the top and provide adequate financial support, including increasing student fees to keep us relevant in the Big West.
