the NCAA has a camera person on a roller next to the officials bench, in the court of play, and Moni crashed in and was down for a bit in that 4th set.
moronic. almost changed the entire match if he had had to go out. looked like hit his head on the leg of the chair, hopefully ok.
just frggn moronic for the NCAA to allow it. they didn't even move after the collision.

Pepperdine had only 9 attack errors all match
Beach had on two the combined 3rd and 4th sets, really picked it up.
Great play by Dickinson attacking after some shaky stuff. needs to go get his serve down though, lol
Beach hit 0.482, high level, especially after errors that first set. Previous Message
pretty shaky 1st set, like timid, and then finally got some
1st point of the match was like the worst set Moni made all year, lol
6 aces?! sets the NCAA record for all divisions
Dickinson struggled, Moni went away from him, but came back later for a lot of open court swings Pepperdine wasn't even bothering to block him
Varga with a huge 2nd set save to get going
Moni was Moni, aces, and left hand dumps are what turned the match around.
still, the other servers have to be more dialed in especially Varga, Dickinson and Kandev
Pruitt came on and Pepperdine seemed to really strugle with his float serve....one more line-up change lol for the year maybe for the finals. Braun has just seemed a half step slow last few matches.
Varga bearhugs Siapanis at the end, great scene
win one for the Soto
