Braun would actually get consideration over Bouchkov if both were healthy.
Braun is hitting an ungodly 0.570, while leading the Big West in blocks per set. maybe not Simon Towrie blocking numbers, dang good. he'd be a legit 1st or 2nd team AA candidate if healthly all year
both Bouchkov & Braun been injured a lot.
hope Bouchkov finally gets 100% healthy next year, he's had to miss a lot of time, and we've never got to see how explosive aside from some games beginning of last year. With Siapanis, McRaven, and Moni (if moni leaves) Bouchkov will be a much needed emotional leader.
McRaven, Bouchkov, Braun, Pruitt (also dang good), and Dickenson (has shown how good he is) @ MB, that's 5 legit MBs this year.

The last two nights have reinforced the depth that Long Beach has. With Hershey out, Nato stepped in and played very nicely at opposite, perhaps better than his position at MB?
Buchov goes out and Braun steps in. Kandev stepping in for Sotiris has been very impressive. Last night his passing was nails.
Last night Buchov was in the serving and hitting lines pregame. Sotiris, unfortunately still does not look ready to play.

possible I guess. but why would he if he wants to play pro.
He mentioned interest in film, maybe go to USC for film school, lol.
maybe if some other team gave him NIL money
Cooper Robinson @ UCLA has a year, he's going pro
these MVB players want to get to the pros. Sani's brother left early from UCI
Heck, Moni probably sold 5 thousand extra tickets alone for all the games at Beach, @ $20-25 revenue per extra ticket coming in, Beach should consider offering this kid $100k as an investment. not that that would change his decision. Previous Message
I know he's a senior but I think the NCAA gave all players who played at a JUCO an extra year of eligibility. Kind of crowded at middle blocker, especially with Cryst coming in, but I would imagine Knipe would want him back. He could also transfer to Hawaii for his last year... Previous Message
seniors with the team since 2022 are immortal.
first players ever to win 4 straight Conference titles.
Dickenson again was solid, and has been sowing a tough serve
Moni kicked things off with a couple aces, with the entire crowd clapping his serve prep
and the highlight teh Bloom clap.
this team has developed a unique character and is super resilient
Varga keeps upping his game with Siapanis out
#1 seed, 2nd place Hawaii in a brutal bottom half o of the bracket with Hawaii, NOrth, Irvine.
and this secures the NCAAs. NO WAY, with UCLA & Hawaii losing, that 3 loss Beach would be jumped by a 6 loss Hawaii or UCLA
