instead of 5% or whatever across the board, bite the bullett on unneeded Cal States. it's about time, the population is stagnant, student growth has stalled or declining

Two of the other state colleges have interim Presidents. I expect we will again have an interim president for a time. With everything they have to deal with now, including the state of the national economy, I expect we will have an interim President for the next year. I would not be surprised if a couple of the state colleges shut down, including Cal State San Marcos, Cal State Channel Islands, and Sonoma State. We will see what happens.
