I think MVB collegiately will be gutted in the next few years and it'll be like water polo, where instead of four teams, there are six teams with money have their own D1 conference and effectively their own title, as they have 18 schollies, plus NIL, they and Speraw can go F themsleves and himself in MVB and play each other 5 teams, then go play their own tourney and declare themsleves a national champion.

Maybe Beach can continue to field an international all start team for a few more years, we'll see.

I just do not see how the P4 is sustainable or what the attraction is nationwide but then I'm wrong about a lot of things. It's of no interest to me. Pro football became flag football, NBA is 3 point shooting.

I don't understand who wants to donate even at the P4s to these player contracts. it has to have TV contract money funneling to players - and 80% of these 60 or so P4s aren't name brands any body will care about, like Northwestern or Miss State - Miss State is located in bumm-f*ck nowhere lol. people there don't have any more money than the city of Long Beach

Rebuild at UCR is looking grim...Magpayo is likely taking the Fordham position. Olen's name is bandied about for openings across the country. UCSD could be in trouble next year. Rochelin, the guy who spat on LBSU's verbal commitment to take some chump change at UCSD, is back in the portal. Can't deal with this nonsense...

I mean, if Acker announced out of the blue he was taking a P4 assistant job, would anybody be surprised? I'm sure he wants to see this thru, and grows enough as a coach to climb up the rung and work some magic! ha!

I look at Cal Poly basketball, they just lost their promising frosh. They graduate their 4 D2 transfers who came along with their coach. THey are in a total re-build. They really were not a re-build this year, as the coach had a combo of 3 ontributors plus his core that knew the system anyway. Maybe their coach is better (he's calmer lol), but their real re-build starts now, their cupboard is bare too. So is Fullerton, Riverside.

it's a flippn mess.
