and they know St. Mary's is desperately trying to bail out on the WCC and over to the Pac-xxx.
once St. Mary's goes (or Randy Bennett goes), the WCC is a relic of it's prior MBB prowess.

Sounds as if Utah Valley to the Big West may not come to fruition. The WCC woke up and is now pursuing Utah Valley. Appears we'll know which conference they choose next week, as they're definitely leaving the WAC.
