Sani has work to do on his receiving, but he has high standards (Varga, SOto) to live up to back there. Soto/Varga are best in the nation.
that was the most full and alive, I've even seen at the Matagym. tough to find a seat, that never happens.
good to see beating a top 10 team in three, with 3 starters out.

Lazar was at the match and dressed but never warmed up. Think it might be lower back? He had some sort of pack behind him when seated. Soto warmed up taking serve receipt and was in the hitting line. Seemed to favor a leg….hamstring?
An aside, was a good atmosphere at CSUN crowd was into the match. Surprised at announced attendance of 1107. Stands were full. Thought attendance would be closer to capacity Previous Message
Moni was crazy good, wicked serves, the North crowd was buzzing great placement tonight.
did not see Bouckov, hopefully he's ok. Soto also didn't play a lot.
Sani was impressive, he was a target and got aced a few times.
I thought Northridge was a bit intimidated by the block or pressing, lots of long hits. I'd expect them to play a little better, maybe dealing with the serves in real person even surprised them. thought Varga was superb and his best serving match.
Moni was 6 for 6 with kills, and had 4 aces to 2 errors. Hersh had 14 kills, and 0 errors. .737
Excellent win over a team that came in 13-2.
