Monson sucked. he lost 5 straight last year, and lucked into a 4th seed. then the 'miracle', which yes SMitheran deserves some credit even if the way he voiced it was not good.

sorry, but it's like all you observe is a coach yelling and come to some simplistic conclusions as a result.
I get you maybe had some personal friendship with MOnson. whatever. Monson was an ok coach, not a bad coach, just ok. he did NOTHING to establish a legacy in SEVENTEEN frigging years despite Beach supporting him. and so when MOnson left, he left ZERO to build on, ZERO but some hardy ha ha schtick. His record his first year sucked, royalled sucked.

You cannot compare Acker to Monson. Dan was a much better coach. Acker is more suited to the JV level, maybe.
At any level he needs to stop constantly yelling at the players. They appear to be ignoring him as a result.
I would love to see D'Anthony Langston be our head coach. He is a 49er thru and thru. I believe players would really relate to him in a positive way.
