still, that's the goa right now, however irrational
keep getting better, and progress, especially with these solid frosh (Kam, Nagy, Lloyd) and bigs contributing in their role
aside from that, the BWCT, it's huge goal, just to entertain any realistic notion of winning the BWCT, you have to be at least a #4 seed. nobody is going to win 4 games in 4 days absent some major flukes.
last year, the team frankly lucked & backed into a 4 seed. they lost 5 straight going into the BWCT (back to why canning Monson was a no-brainer b4 the BWCT). in 3 weeks the team had gone from potential Big West champ to looking like having to win 4 games in 4 days, before a couple teams also lost that last week to back into that 4 seed.
Can this team get to at least a 4 seed? probably still a fairly long-shot. just other than Irvine, no other team can be penciled in to one of those top 4 spots. Irvine hasn't even played a great SOS, and they lost a key player. Poly had two starters injured last night and is granted a fun to watch 90s LMU type of run and gun team. Davis will be tough, but they are not some juggernaut. North lost at home, USCB has played a patsy schedule and lost. UCSD definitely looks to have reloaded well. it's all early.
I can't imagine Fullerton can get to a top 4 seed after watching those guys last night. it's only one game
