Let’s relax for a second and take a deep breathe. This message board is a place for LB fans to support our teams and have conversations with others about the universities sports teams. It’s not about what is considered being a “real fan.”

I was simply questioning a scenario on what me and my buddies saw during the game in hopes someone else on this board saw it too and had other views on what they saw. You immediately challenged my judgment and asked if I had a “stick in my craw” about the new coaching decision. It’s disappointing that you couldn’t respond respectfully to a loyal fan and ALUMNI I must add

I watched WVB senior night and stayed. are those who left before honoring seniors not 'real fans'?

are those who turn off the TV because the team plays horribly not 'real fans'?

just trying to ascertain the rule book here. I mean, if I'm not a 'real fan', then I should probably right now not buy another ticket or donate any more money to Beach athletics or academics or volunteer servcies because.....I'm not a 'real fan' lol

At around 4:30 on Saturday November 23, 2024 at the California State University, Long Beach men’s basketball game in against California State University, Fresno State in the Walter Pyramid, from my section 109 row J, me and my buddies noticed one of the assistant coaches of California State University Long Beach acting unprofessionally. Based on his body language and the situation, I am sure he was not in the best mood. A fan was yelling in the assistant coaches/whole teams direction and the assistant coach turned his whole body and directed all of his attention to the fan. He then shouted something based on his body movements. His back was turned to me so maybe he wasn’t yelling at the fan! He could have been stretching or cracking his neck maybe! Or maybe telling a significant other how much he loved them! Hopefully that was enough DETAIL for ya?

P.S. the last 5 minutes were the craziest part of the whole game. If you were a real fan you would have been there the whole time in hopes your team won

I didn't see any coach talking trash to fans. missed the last 5 minutes though

Was anybody at the MBB game on Saturday? I was at the game with my buddies and we are almost certain we saw one of the coaches talking trash to fans. Wanted to make sure I wasn’t the only one who saw it.
