I agree, the way LBSU passes the ball will be the difference in the match. If the team passes well then they can beat Hawaii on the road but they can get blown out if they pass like the last two matches vs Hawaii.

I think with the new system LBSU will be able to stress Hawaii a lot more both offensively and defensively up front. Should be a fun match to watch. Looking forward to a win.

for Mad Max, not letting her receiving errors bother her serving, and responding with serving runs of her own is just great to see. shows toughness mentally

certainly, if the pins can receive a bit better, and Hayes can serve better, she had a bad serving night for her, there's some major serve-receive improvement for the match with Hawaii. I think if we can receive solid, definitely can beat Hawaii, we've had trouble the last few matches for some reason receiving.

plus they have the conference POY in Alexander, whose gonna get her kills.

Huge win for the team. They played very well in three of the four sets, and actually came from way back to make the third set semi-interesting. O'Reilly had a big match, and Maxwell had a great serving run to close out the match. They now own the tie breaker with UCSD. If they win the last two against Bakersfield and CSUN, they should be in good shape. A win at Hawaii, this Friday, would be huge for seeding in the conference tournament. But, that will be tough.

UCSD was tied for first, and had won 9 of their last 10 matches in conference.

other than a really bad 3rd set, they dominated, albeit could not see since ESPN+ was not streaming

4th set they got tons of blocks.

and Reagan started off the 6-2 with Hayes 4th set, give her credit, she's pulling all the right strings when needed and with their backs against the wall last few matches., great response to a horrid 3th set

this is a good defensive team for sure.
