almost feels like maybe some better focus knowing they have to get the ball to the middle for the two setters, lol, so much less of our setter running around with their hair on fire plays
tonight vs. Irvine is huge, it's a massive impact match on making the BWCT for both teams, almost a play-in match
Hayes is one cool customer, and I think they can go to Natalie a bit more.
last night was the 4th consecutive game in which Maxwell has started - all with positive results, and hitting well, and best of all, she never smiles out there

The team really looked solid yesterday. They didn’t give away points like they’ve done in previous matches. They made Fullerton earn their points. Collins looked improved over the last match, and Hayes was lights out. Plus, she sets a higher ball to Bacon, which helps her. I’m not a huge fan of the 6-2, but the team seems to have adjusted nicely, and it’s given O’Reilly a chance to play on the right, and she’s been solid. I look forward to seeing how they do at Irvine tonight. Previous Message
Fullerton hitting virtually every serve at Vellucci, maybe a result of the Davis game I expect that to continue with Glenn not reveiving and Chacon receiving less. Previous Message

& Glenn's legs are getting a major break as well, playing only front-row
basicallly have Hayes lefty serve replacing Glenn's and Hayes serve is pretty darn good.
IRvine's block will be a different animal than Fullerton's though

got behind 3-1 first set, and then became a machine
Fullerton is hard to evaluate, they are terrible
still good to see this 6-2 playing like a machine and Hayes serve is really good.
have to say, the set placement is just better. I realize it's only two games, and Meyers brings a different dynamic
we'll see how it translates against Irvine tommorrow. to me that's the acid test for this group and 6-2
still, they absolutely crushed Fullerton like they should. no close sets or even got close in a set, which is what a good team should do to a bad team
