ok, didn't watch too much,

1) LaVerne should handle Cal Tech pretty easily, that I'm sure of

2) all 12 guys play the SAME F'CKING WAY!!! god, it took 17 years for a coaching staff to enforce defensive principles in EVERY F'CKING PLAYER!! footwork, posture. breath of fresh air. ok, so it is only one F'CKING Game, lol!! maybe enforcement and honeymoon of princiles will break down over time

3) we won't have the make-up speed of AT & Jones, no surprise

4) we are gonna defend the 3 better. the prior regime was in love with large space of sagging off, presumable to 'help' cover the inside. the 'ol matra of INSIDE-OUT. god that was a dinosaur. modern basketball is 40% 3s, beat 50% 2s ..by 20%, do the math. basketball is a math problem, which one would have thought a math major would know. yes, gonna give up more inside, but see #2 above, responsibility to guard your guy every minute, but limit the help guy leaving his man to....open up 3s.

5) we could still be anyware from 1 to 11. I'm not sure this is the speediest group. they have some length overall Big West-wise.

6) offense will be tough, shooting will be tough. Rock will learn to not shoot bricks

7) that's enough. still was refreshing and watch players with teh right defensive posture....every F'CKING ONE OF THEM!!!!!
