how did she have 2000 aces? is that correct?
2000 aces / 20 matches a year / 4 years = 20+ aces a match?!
I think that statistic has believable issues. she had 1200 kills lol,
someone made a type
still if she serves teh way she served that 4th set, she may get to 2000 aces at Beach. That serving run was Nikolov-esque. she was varying the placement, the ball was diving left, right, hard liner float. it was really special - one of those 'moments' of a career.
and her defense was good, I think this was the player people were projecting what she could do. Granted it was Bake and it was one match or two counting a good NOrthridge match, still those early matches vs. top 10 teams that probably humbled her seem to be paying off. powering thru the block now vs. sailing balls out. she's good and has a presence.
lol. You should have also mentioned that Madi Max had 2000 aces in high school.
a star was born
after a 1st set awful stretch unable to handle Bake's jump server version of Natalie Glenn, Beach righted the ship on the backs of Mad Max and sub JJ swooped in doing her GyroCaptain impression dropping assorted kills from above.
the Roadrunner's mohawked leader could only watch in dismay as her tribe was dismantled in the last 3 sets by the two heros of the battle.
the passing got better thank god aside from the first few points of set 3.
Mad Max was superb, after Glenn went on a run 4th set, Bake's jump server got a few back, before Mad Max then went on a serving tear, great stuff, gutted entrails of Bake's backcourt strewn all over the place and Bake finished, appropriate among the land of desolate oil wells and scrubbrush.
Beach returns home to defend against other assorted predators like Anteaters and Elephants, before Mad Max goes out on the road again to, naturally,
the Thunderdome.
