this should be one of, if not the most, physical team we have had.
the OHs are physical. Nikolov as a setter is physical
the middles are the fastest pair of middles we've had,
passing? we shall see. Briggs of course is the big hole or question on replacing. Siapanis was an excellent receiver.
so long as they can receive and don't get served off the court, this team could be mind-numbing good. the other side won't have a clue what to do if Nikolov gets passes 3' from the net
Bouchkov & McRaven are gonna be shoving balls straight down this year
god bless the Godbold-Knipe-Towrie-Briggs era,
with Speraw gone, it'll be interesting what other teams can challenge. UCLA has Rowan and talent, although I'm not sure our overall roster is not better
enjoy Rowan vs. Nikolov this year, the UCLA-Beach matches will be an event, won't have another match-up of setters like this for awhile - they may be facing each other in 2028 in LA Previous Message

Items of interest:
4 Bulgarians on the roster...Nikolov (our setter) is now listed at 6'8!
One of our top recruits, Isaiah Preuitt, is listed as a 6'3 Setter. I thought he was around 6'8 and either a MB or OH.
Another top recruit, Victor Loiola, isn't on the roster.
