Harris was teetering as well with some, uh, not great receptions
agree about Giambi, she is showing some very good anticipation and coverage back there.
Bacon I thought came up big, there was that stetch mid/late 4th set, we weren't doing well to score with attacks, and she shut down Chillingsworth sic) the WCC POY last year with 2 or 3 stuffs for points, some really good blocking kept that lead, until Pepperdine wilted at the very end. that was key
Wong I thought was trying to get in the head of the refs about lifts or even Meyer's sets. a lot of lift calls, which really don't get called much any more. The most obvious lift was one called on Pepperdine
the Davis match will be tough. I think they'll have a big crowd after beating UCLA and they have experience, a good libero, and playing well.
Davis lines up 3 front row players to hide the serve in the past, and they do those hard floats as well, I guess every team does, so this week was good prep for those.
big run by Karach 1st set was great to see, and Giambi also scored well alternating that hideously pop up puff ball serve with her harder serve. Previous Message
Good win over Pepperdine today. Well, good in sets 1, 3, and 4. Let's not talk about set 2. Another good match for Karich and Lomigora. And, Jenna Giambi had some incredible digs. The team outblocked the Waves, and had only three service errors. All I'll say about the second set is that the team rebounded nicely from that disaster.

and Pepperdine had 9 themselves. I thought both were hard serving terms, more than Wazzou.
Pepperdine looked good, but I only saw the first set lol, that Pepp won also. Washington ground them down as well.
Pepperdine plays a 6-2 like Santa Barbara. all the other Big West top 7 Big West teams play a 5-1, although we have a bit of a hybrid when Collins is in there. Previous Message
Noticed UW had 12service aces against Pepp last night. 10 against Long Beach. Tough serving team.

I hope people were tracking Giambi tonight
She was fantastic
She s had some injuries, has a limited role. She was putting 1st touches on defense in good spots all night.
What a difference 25 hrs. Now see if they can receive like that and get onbserves again. Meyer must've ran 20% of what she did last night
Our let's finally attacked the block vs steering so many attempts away and long
What a team. Tomorrow will be a tough match Previous Message
Ella was dominant in the middle tonight, and the passing was vastly improved. Previous Message
Way to dominate a match. Let's do the same to PEP tomorrow. Good on Natalie finally getting Harris into the starting lineup. Hit just short of .200 way better than we have been getting. Usual steady great match from Glenn. Ella on fire hitting .857 with 12 kills. Nice match for Abby as well. Play with confidence and just dominate.
