it sounds easy in theory, it had to happen after March, and by that time, who knows, plus I'm sure counting on new recuits, hard to say what is best in the new era. how do players like O Reilly and Maddux feel if they come in chomping at the bit and see a band-aid approach. IMO Beach has to ahve niche where players feel they can develop (at least a couple of years, we all know any player that blossoms will get the Brink's truck come calling from the P4 a holes)

I'm sure there is some recruiting and inquiries, I mean Tyler had similar issue to bring in the type of arm he wanted. on top of that Tyler's networking was gone

Now that I read that Agi had surgery in the off-season, I understand her redshirting but why didn't they try to bring in a graduate portal transfer that could fill her spot for a year? Maybe they did pursue, but no takers??? Previous Message

it makes sense to me. we don't have enough left side terminating ability, so using Meyer to attack and given what Collins is showing makes sense, are also using Bacon to attack from the right

it does show Reagan is doing some solid critical approaches to work around the personnel

wondering if we'll see Maxwell some more. had real trouble just hoping she could work thru her hitting and passing issues, seemed like upside

still having seen O' Reilly

this is a tough team to figure out schemes as a coach as Agi would have added some signficant consistancy, passing, serving, back-row attack that now has to be compensated for

Meyer won't get as many assists, but if she is getting attacks at a high percentage it's worth it

and Collins has been impressive

For stretches, Meyer is not the primary setter and playing on the outside. Collins may be our future setter, but this doesn't make any sense to me... Previous Message

Meyer is not piling up assists. stats are not everything but that is not a great sign

also, we have yet to beat a team that has won a game as Northwestern and Omaha have not won a match, albeit they've played tough schedules.

they are not sharp, and so need better floor defense and better fundamentals (on passing), I watched some other Big West play, and Beach is not alone is bad passing stretchees, by conference BG always came in with the most disciplined playing team. they have to get the ball to Meyer better Previous Message

I attended the Omaha match. Despite the win, I was not impressed with the level of play at all. Previous Message

Arizona STate (#16) is undefeated and pounding Wichita State into submission, they could be a top 10 ten.

Wichita State may be a toss up - similar to us, they've play and lost to high caliber teams, and beat not so great teams

team only got aced twice on Wednesday, so hopefully the passing improves and out Left Sides at least minimize errors
