August 31st vs. Top 5 Pitt to start, then ORegon

I can't remember such a late start to the season before?. Not sure if all the teams are starting a week later this year. usually starts the week before Labor Day.

4 top 5/10/20 opponents in Wazzu, Wash Oregon, & Pitt. & Pepp, ASU are top 30/50 ish teams

Wazzu I'm sure is looking for opponents so guessing we'll be going up there next year

only ONE true non-conference road game, at Oregon

we go to Nebraska to play Arizona State and Wichita State. great trip, solid and I think winnable matches, just we don't play anybody from Nebraska, lol

except at home we play the return game, hosting Omaha, who has been a perennial Horizon League top team

Don't mind the 2 games vs. Northwestern, those should be tough

finish with a tough home tourney with Wazzu, Wash, & Pepperdine, wow

first time since I can't remember, mabye 80s?, Beach does not play Cal Poly up in SLO, due to the new imbalance schedule, and I guess this year we only get SB & Poly once, which given Poly may be the pre-season favorite which makes our conference schedule 'lighter' than it normally would

Cal Poly & Beach amazingly didn't lose talent via NIL, and should both be among the top favorites.

with this non-conf schedule, it's gonna be a challenge and tough, no sure wins in non-conference. realistically anywhere from 3-7 to 7-3 are in play - every team is a top 100 team

will be a huge test for this coaching staff, pretty sure chomping at the bit to win a title in 2024. last title was 2014, wow. it's time!
