On another note, WVB played a spring match at LMU today, and won in five sets. 25-21, 27-29, 23-25, 25-20, 15-7. Nice win against a talented LMU squad, especially LMU’s libero. But, both teams will be adding players in the fall. LB was missing two starters in Abby Karich and Natalie Glenn, who are playing for the sand team. Watch out for incoming freshman Madison Maxwell. She’s going to be good.
a really well played match. Northridge is good.
best thing was to see Godbold get stronger as the match went on, and looked like Godbold of earlier i the season in that 4th set, with some big serves late and a couple key kills. he'd be somewhat error prone, and tonight should be a big boost.
one more tommorrow night, can be first Beach team to win the BWCT in Hawaii if they can pull it off.
