I don't understand why. He went to Beach, it's not like he's a schollie player. I guess if there was another walk-on and reached a limit and had to choose, then in that case. Would like to see him finish and get his degree at Beach. He's not the coach.

is only a soph. I hope he stays on the team, and continues with the new coaching staff, and gets his degree at Beach. While obviously not the most athletic kid, he does have basketball smarts, and the fact is he contributed to a win big-time, can't ever take that away from him. would be great to see IMO.

flush the past time,& thank god, people are depleted from it! And a great Achievement for the Beach Players and Program to start off a new era with.

Just great to have Excitement. Look at WBB, not a huge fan, but the little watching one can tell Amy knows her sh*t and amazing what she did on the fly.

& yes, can always go down in flames. If we are 0-33 next year, it'll still ahve been the right thing to do. The program needed to move forward and take whatever risk occurs.

Challenges are exciting and rejuvenating.

The new coach I can't imagine would not go head first into being part of the Long Beach city culture- there's an identity waiting to happen there, that the right coach and a leader can facilitate.

On a final note for Monson, it would be great if he found some way to immerse himself still in a post coaching manner supporting the University that celebrates being with Tark a two time NCAA coach here. Maybe no likely, but hey, if Maddox still plays, maybe it'll be constructive post coaching career role for him.

A nice ending, and a new exciting beginning, can't ask for much more.
