the bad out of the way first.

1) Jones looked ok, just didn't play, then Stroud with non first half appearance, and it seemed might be too thin
2) God, another game to start with 2 jack up bad 3s, one by tsohonis, one by messiah sheesh, do these guys not read anything I write? Marcus took a couple more early not good 3s, sheesh.
3) doubling out top on picks with LT, let's face it, LT is not the best guy to double with, and got exposes over and over and over and over and over with SPOT UP 3s, here we go! how in hades can an inside team like Beach not get decent looks and game after game we give up great looks
4) some out of control breaks and passes again, seemed like 5-6 first half Turnovers.
5) AT with a bad agressive 2nd foul, then got his 3rd with about 16 min left, uh oh!
6) lol, this seemed like about the 4th straight game we've thrown away a FT, with a guy getting in too soon, Lewis the culprit this time,cmon

the good:
1) AT, superman, yeah, some mistakes, but doing what he did, and a lot of it with 3 fouls from about 13 minutes left, and he avoided that 4th foul for a loooong time, was so key
2) Monson decision to roll dice a bit, but almost had to with about 12 1/2 min left, and put AT back in
3) Messiah. he starts! he made space, he created space, great assists. yeah that initial jack-up, a couple bad passes, but finally saw what we expected, and nice plays to finish, great strip. his 2nd 3, HE WAS SET, came of a fumbly play, but HE WAS SET. that 3 I thought was big after Poly had hit like 11, and Beach had only 1 to that point
4) Tsohonis, FTs got better in the stretch
5) Lewis, that first 3, assist to AT, but HE WAS SET, jeez, guys just get set
6) AJ, some strong plays 1st half as we got ahead, then back to some fumbleitis 2nd half. Still he drew Kobe a lot of the game, and 2nd half did a solid jub, with Jones out and unable to guard, and AT with 3 fouls. hung in there
7) LT FTs, missed a couple, then started to drain again. teams are just pounding him
8) 2nd half adjustment to FINALLY recognize to stop doubling out high, and stopped the bleeding beyond the arc. we simply do not rotate or play well to prevent teams from gettign good looks. it' must have been like 36-6 we got beat from 3s.
9) that was pretty much a must win game,
10) Tsohonis FTs late, and was drawing fouls.

hopefully Jones can play Saturday, he didn't look hurt, maybe discipline, hopefully will be back. To me Messiah was a big story, he got into a role with the ball, only has taken like half the season to figure that out. Now need to get Isa to be a spot up 3 shooter.

seemed on the brinnk of a bad loss with AT with 3 fouls, and down 6, so have to give the defense credit to continue to apply pressure for ENTIRE possessions, not the Northridge breakdowns.
