two five setters, while Hawaii rested and went 3-0, probably had an effect. losing that massive lead 1st set last week in retrospec was big to have us drop down in the seed, and seemed to have really re-energized Hawaii ever since.

MBB needs to take note. barring something bizarre, nobody outside the 4th seed is gonna win the BWCT in March, 4 wins in 4 days is simply not gonna happen, especially if you have to play a 1 or 2 on the championship. Heck so far they can't win 2 times in 3 days.

great bookend wins for the team starting with Texas and then Santa Barbara despite a bunch of injuries, and a huge core of solid players returning. feel bad for the seniors, they stayed at Beach, and fought hard for 2 years to get to the NCAAs, just didn't happen.

Hawaii & Santa Barbara lose a lot of players, so a bunch of changes in store for WVB next year.
