that 1st set close out serving by Glenn was something else, big-time.
especially after blowing a 6 pt lead
and then blew a 7 pt lead 2nd set, this team is fun, and nerve-wracking, they need to have a bit more aggressive receiving to side out when they get up, we look like a short-stop letting ground balls play us when we get a lead.
credit Lesiak, who struggles on attacks, for a really nice serving short serve run in the 5th that SB could not get a good rhythm attacks on her much of the night.
Beach needed every point, lol, had a 6 point lead in the fifth
siding out on Ohwebete's serve in the 5th was a massive massive point, it set up for Beach's best rotation and SB never got back to Ohwebete.
totally shut down Farmer tonite.

one thing is UCSB has not played against this line-up, with both Glenn & Kennedy, Kennedy out the first time, Glenn out unfortunately up in SB.
SB might be one of the only teams that play as fast, or faster, vs. us.
our blockers will have to make some choices, the back-row has to pick up some balls to give Meyer a chance.
Beach is good. SB is good.
hopefully Meyer can take some swings and score, SB picked up on a number of her dumps in SB. Still, with Glenn back, Meyer sets to her fast, and having Glenn's serve back could be a big help. didn't seem to get a lot of pressure on SB last outing, and started behind every set.
won't be easy, they can get it done though, SB is not some invincible type of team. They are good, and so is the Beach. I expect our best match of the year.
