the Bake setter did a good job for sure, just there seemed to be a lot of poor / late blocks - I was sure we weren't playing Nebraska but it seemed like it for large stretches, by the bombs Bake was putting down with ease.
also didn't get why so many soft short serves, especially late when so many were netted in that fourth set
I wish as great as Tyler is, he would restrain a bit on jumping almost on the court until the whistle is blown, 2-3 times for the match the team takes his cue and almost stops playing. wait until the dang play is dead, it costs points the way the team reacts when he's arguing while the point is still going on. at least until he gets his challenge percentage way up there, lol
Agree with most of what you said. Agi had a huge match with 28 kills, and a .431 hitting percentage. The team hit .365, which should be dominating. Sadly, the block, which was outstanding against Hawaii, was a letdown tonight. Way too close, but as you said, it's a win. I'll take it. Let's hope they learn from this and fix their errors.
Bakersfield did play well, the first two sets they handled teh Beach serve about as good as any team all year
Agi with a monster night kills, and Glenn a monster serving night, made the big difference
Bake interesting targetted Hoff all night, she had been playing well, but struggled a lot today, and hopefully cleans that up. the block struggled Bake was getting everything thru the block.
really got fortunate that 5th set early to somehow score on a couple overpasses, one from Hoff, and Bake hitting an out ball when it was close.
a win is a win, not that Beach played bad, Hard to see how Bake had such a horrible record.
really need to stop with starting matches piling up errors out the gate.
3 errors off the bat, this stuff drives fans crazy
