2b) MBB (please don't kick this down the road that far, this should be something to get background on very fast, just look at the attendance and performance record the last 10 years, it's simple). You will lose players without a plan. You may or wil lose players anyway with a plan, but the earlier they know, the better. Do not WAIT to March 22, 2024. Look at the data, 'Interview' CDM, & 'Interview' Scholl and then MAKE A DECISION before the season starts.
2a) Fund-raising and development. Do not kick the can down to your current development manager. If you took this job without and understanding of what you would or could or are really capable of doing to increase donors, business buy-in, and fans, then well the selection committee 'F'ked' up. But it's still your responsibility.

this is the most insulting thing alumni, fans, boosters, and stakeholders get frustrated with.
The alumni and fan bases has been served up some serious "Made up Shit' the last 14 years. Use critical thinking, we are an academic institution that engages with critical thinking....one would think?.
"playing as many and @ top 10-25 teams as possible is the path to success and recruiting" so said CDM and Cegles and they actually got suckers to repeat that ad nauseum. Attendence fell thru the roof with that strategy and Beach won.....ONE, I repeat, ONE...f'king game out of those (Pitt) in 15 years. paying the coach to LOSE is not a plan....EVER. Bull-Shit. but CDM and Cegles told us so.

3) please don't come out the gate and tell us you are getting a feel, engaging stakeholders, learning, etc. Just don't!! It's understood. LBSU doesn't need any word salad trite obvious crap from the AD. Tell us what you are doing constructively. We don't need to hear about what you need to learn. You got the job we hope/pray/believe on not needing to 'learn'. YOU SAID YOU WERE QUALIFIED.
4) report clearly how you are doing for the plan. you'll get help if you can do that, and it's a flipping hard thing to do
5) Pyramid. this isn't your primary responsibility. It's too structural an issue. doesn't mean you can't help, but those two people above you have to take responsibility for ways to deal with it. I think everybody understands the AD limitations to resolve.
