Curious who this mystery candidate with A.D. experience is. There is another one in So Cal who we should be kicking the tires on, Cal State LA's Darryl Gross. He was the A.D. at Syracuse for 11 years and prior to that, had experience at USC. He's only 61 which would be perfect age. He seems to have some baggage from his time at Syracuse, although he was never directly implicated. Apparently, CSULA checked him out before they hired him. Here's an article about him.
