Doing a simple search on the CA Secretary of State business search will point out some obvious problems, if you care to find out.
oh puhlleeeze,
Knipe deserves credit, and that in no way suggest he 'runs it'. he deserves credit because it EXISTS, because of success that spawns it.
He has created success, yes it's likely he's had conversations, that while not directing it, at least understanding and being encouraging of it.
cmon, really?
the fact is I bring up Monson, because after 15 years, there doesn't appear to be any NIL collective (not saying he is the one that runs it, of course not), attendance is in the toilet, his communications and development of MBB social media has been horrific, he never has the appearance of doing anything to promote MBB, etc. the contrast between Knipe and Monson is so glaring in regards to the state of MBB that Monson has, and the NIL is one more example of those differences
University staff members are prohibited from being involved in the management, organization or decisions of an NIL collective. They are allowed to promote a collective or direct people to it.
Giving Knipe credit for this is, at the very least, problematic.

Knipe shows the way, as usual.
now for MBB. Dan, what are you doing? Dan, are you there, is anyone home? hello!!
MBB dodged some bullets this off-season, won't happen again next season without MBB collective in place. ARE YOU LISTENING Dan? and is Dan doing anything about it? Dan? Hello? Hello?
