we also lose a couple key players to graduation, so hopefully can recruit and/or get a transfer or two to come. the #1s will likely be playing top competition next year, so getting more competitive at the 2s will be a big key
lots of promise with this core - & hopefully they all stay amidst the now off-season merry-go-rounds about to ensue.

Sadly, the sand team lost to Cal today, in rainy, windy, weather, 3-2. Our two points came at the #1 and #5 pairs. Our freshman duo at the #1 pairs continued their great play by upsetting Cal's All-American pair, 21-18, 24-22. That's the major bright spot for this team. This freshman duo of Malia Genentara and Taylor Hagenah gives great hope for next season.
