the offense is going to run thru AT (a lot I hope) and Tsahonis next year. The point guard position, whoever that might be has to handle the ball without turnovers, hit an open 3, and play defense...for about 20 or so minutes a game.
to me the #1 indicator of next year will be AT's development as a shooter. Will the lid be taken off and can he hit the mid-range jumper, and especially be allowed to work thru that during non-conference. Or will the staff instruct him not to shoot?
AT is the guy with the ultimate high ceiling. He proved to be a capable ball handler. In my mind he can be a michael jordan type of all court player - and if he shows he can hit jumpers and 3s, he'll be unguardable and open so many other things up.

Silva was a very high end recruit out of HS. He was ranked in the top 100 players overall, getting to as high as 53. So, I think it is fair to say he is talented. But, at the D1 level, his best game was scoring 12 points and for a Stanford team that struggled at the PG position, he did not earn minutes or a starting position. Therefore, he would appear to have potential, but is unproven. We are of course also replacing two PGs (Murray and Hunter). I think we need another good PG and let them earn the starting spot.
