good match-up for the 1st round, then winner gets UCLA, single elimination so just takes one upset

lost to Cal 2-3 earlier in the year, so definitely have the pairs to beat Cal

surprising to be seeded 9th ahead of Stanford who was #10, but bracket probably didn't want a Pac-12 match-up 1st round. seeding definitely didn't make sense, but whatever.

actually thought Beach deserved to be #11, and playing LMU, but Hawaii drops all the way to #11

UCLA & TCU are really the only two juggernauts in the tournament - everyone else is a beatable team for the most part.
