the trick is getting the right ones to choose you
have to assume the staff has watched enough tape of this guy that they are reasonably sure he has the phsyical ability for the speed of the D1 game
out of Hart, Varney, & this guy, need at least one to be a servicable point guard for 25 minutes or so a game. hopefully more than that
there was the grad student transfer that Beach was interested in. not sure what has happened with that.
also, seems Polynice is staying...at least thus far, which is good news, he didn't play a lot, but doesn't mean he can't contribute quite a bit next year.

This guy has decent stats for JUCO team that went something like 7-16...not my kind of guy. I prefer an experienced D1 guy from the portal. There's plenty to choose from. Previous Message
he led his team in rebounding as a pt guard and 6'2"
speaks to me that the kid GOES AFTER THE BALL, possible Drew Cobb material Previous Message
while his shooting is not the greatest
a) rebounds
b) very solid ball handling assists are really high, and very good assist to TO ratio
we needed a guy that more than anything could handle the ball and pass, and for that, looks like a decent candidate
A Traore will be handling the ball a lot next year as well Previous Message

Not great stats, losing JUCO team - not sure why we need this player. There has to be 100 point guards in the transfer portal who could be adequate.
