why come to Beach with
lateral pay
no NIL high level program to help in recruiting
cupboard bare
low visible conference
no experience in West Coast and maybe West Coast connetion
come to Beach
notice there is no personal info on the resume
maybe get the heck out roots of Arkansas/Ok/Texas
low risk position to get HC experience, and manageable expectations when attendance is 500 a game
potential big payday in 4-5 years with a BCS gig
gets to control an entire program, even if the expectations at Beach are going door-to-door to sale and boost the program, and doing your own paperwork with less staff
all likelhood, if she's successful with a title or two in 5 years, she gets a really good offer
on the other hand, never know, she may just have found a permanent home and like Calif., history says otherwise when they are successful. for once, would be great if could keep a coach by just givein long extensions and modest increases to keep coaches (Harrington, Jody, etc.) that went for a payday that only lasted 4 years.
no guarantees the BCS assistants pan out (like Morgan) any more than D2 or Juco coaches. Douglas who Beach spurned did ok for awhile at Irvine.
she's got connections, will know pretty soon how good her 'network' is by the xfers she brings in. Previous Message
She must have wanted to be a head coach real bad. Her salary at OU was $210,000. I can't imagine the Niners will pay her much more than that. Cammon was only making slightly more than that in his final year. Previous Message

Sounds like a good resume. Let's hope she does well here.
