two close 2-3 losses to top 5 teams USC & LMU

just crazy - this team and a couple players really need to learn to close out matches with a lead.

there's some good talent on the team, and they play hard.

the #2 pair is simply a dynamite pair of frosh, going 4-0 over the weekend, beating pairs from 3 top 5 ranked teams, beat USC (especially sweet), LMU, FSU, and then Cal Poly. Beach escaped vs. Poly 3-2, with a good win for the #1 pair who played elite pairs all weekend.

see if they can break-thru and grind it out and then beat Hawaii in Hawaii, no small task
