Beach is scheduled to host 2024 NCAA Championships

while rain in May is very low %, have to wonder if Beach will have a contingency plan. at the minimum, known leaks / repairs will be needed. would be an absolute PR nightmare (not to mention costs) for the University to have to make a last minute change or contingency to play at Bren as an alternate in the event of rain - can't think of any other venue that would make sense.

not only that, 2024 SHOULD be the rotation for Beach to hold the MVB championships in Long Beach.

going back to Hawaii again, just because they bid the most year in year out is a disadvantage to all the other teams not named Hawaii, not that they don't sell oodles of tickets, is just the most inherently unfair place to hold a championship. Our 2018-19 team, one of the greatest in MVB history had trouble winning there.
