SB played much better on Saturday and a stiffer test. some unbelievable rallies in the finale set
I thought Friday Aiden had one of his best games, great setting time, especially to the middles
Saturday was an entirely different matter. he jammed his hand late Friday. 1st set started out with some horrific timing/sets - hopefully it is something that heals. end of last year IMO Knipe was banged up for the NC match.
also, Godbold is struggling a bit, maybe some the setting, just he is not terminal enough out of system as this team needs, especially if we aren't passing well to utlize the middles like last night
in any case it's on to Hawaii for a challenging pair of matches. they are winnable, well have to play well, not perfect but absolutely need to pass better on Hawaii's serve, which is good
The TJ/Ensign/Tuaniga teams won ONCE the last two years in Hawaii. two of their 3 losses were in Hawaii those two years.
have lost 5 straight there, while beating them 6 straight at the Pyramid
the team has seen that environment, hopefully they are jazzed and loose and play at that level
Hawaii has an extra gear, with Towrie finally serving hard and in, we have ashot
