for AT, I believe he has worked his butt off on shooting, I have to believe based on this season he was basically told to not shoot. I thought that was an area we'd see more of from AT this year and REALLY dissapointed he didn't shoot (or at least get the chance to demonstrate) some more
Next year, absolutely AT needs to be gvien the green light to shoot the jumper. If he goes 6-7 games and doesn't show that ability, so be it, but he needs the green light IMO to see what he can do. He would be absolutely unstoppable if teams had to respect his outside shooting.
AT has very good form, he started the year 3-6 from 3s, then finished 0-4, but they mostly were end of shot clock or no option left type shots.
to me AT is Lucious Harris type material, next year is it, praying he better stay cause he causes so many issues on both ends. His ability to get the ball to LT and his disrpution on boards was a big part of LTs success.
he's got the 'it' factor, but maybe I see too much in the kid that isn't there. Previous Message
That’s an interesting thought, though strictly from a development / future point of view his biggest need is to get up about 1000+ shots a day in the gym to make some real money. Not a great NBA coach, but Jason Kidd did Giannis a big favor playing him as a PG for a year in Mill. Watching the SEC semi’s, ex UCD PG Manjon looking pretty good, but he’s matched up against a guy who looks like an NBA player, and his team is a little overmatched. If SB’s Mitchell hangs out in Goleta he might be doing himself a disservice. He’s not going to a P5 and become the POY, but he can play 20+ mpg on any team I’ve seen this year, and he’d benefit
from the better competition and exposure, Previous Message
