National Anthem was nice - sung by former SB great Lucious Davis, who I think was a thorn in the Harrington era teams.
such a difference between Tsohonis and AJ Mitchel. Mitchel is so smooth, he sees the floor, knows how to drive around (not thru) traffic and gives up the ball before he gets congested. Tsonhonis maid some shots just almost absurd degree of difficulty and therein is part of the issue, he seems to almost want to have guys draped all over him, and drives thru guys vs. beating them on an edge.
funny players reacting to coaches. Norris on a bad possession by SB, Pasterdick was yelling at him, and Norris just waved him off after a bit, lol. Tsohonis on the bench MOnson tried to explain what a bad shot/decision and Tsohonis just argued back, such is the plight of coaches (or players).
We don't miss a healthy Murray so much, until there is 3 minutes left in a game and then we miss him a ton.
I think MOnson feels he has to have Hunter out there cause he trusts (rightly so) Hunter's ability to dribble the ball up and on the perimeter. ...Now, what Hunter does after that is where things go awry.
We knew (our coaches HAD to know that Norris and ANderson were their go to 3 pt shooters) and Mitchell would pick n roll us.... and just we couldn't limit that while they limited our strengths and yet another team going after AT early to get him out of the game. It's invariable at this point, he is such a good defender/rebounder because he plays close and tough and vertical, yet coaches figure just via contact they'll get enough calls to get him out of there. and they are.
