One of the end of match stats that really stands out is UCSB's dominance in blocks, 19 to 4. I thought LB was a good blocking team early on but they really faded in conference. Last night UCSB's fast offense made it difficult all night for the blockers which made it difficult on the back row. The Callie/Bacon tandem is pretty slow and it showed last nigh.
Tyler apparently has taken only one season to develop stubborness associated with long-time veteran coaches, lol
it was so glaring too, developing players struggle, even some vets
plus Sheffie hit lights out, and didn't even play one rotation
wondering if Savanah was injurred, didn't play
definitely some head-scratching decisions yesterday
aside from that one service run by Dylan, that was ugly
UCSB and Hawaii are in end of the season form and LBSU is still trying to put things together. Tonight's match was not a fun one to watch for Beach fans. Still cannot figure out why Tyler has a hard time making a decision to sub a player out when not playing very well. Sometimes a replacement can add that spark and turn things around.
De La Cruz with some solid service and a great save
win set 3 somehow. Go Beach
just horrific receiving and really to one SB server. serve- receive is just plain bad.
not a good performance, we look like Riverside
