of the 3 keys:
Tone and Hunter have not hit a 3 all year, teams are going to sag, they don't or shouldn't take a lot of 3s, but bottom line is they need to hit 2-3 a game between them especially with their driving/passing skills in the lane
TOs, we had 17, we did not do little plays early receiving passes agressively that have to do against aggresive denial defense teams like UCLA (or Irvine)
A. Traore had a nice game, would be good to see some designs to isolate him more in teh post as he is so quick.
UCLA is really good, really impressed with all the guards and length they have
our press didn't do squat, too late to clamp on the trapping press - tough against that good of a guard oriented team, but we were still too slow/cautious when we did it and would get burned anyway
at least CDM fixed the under the basket inbounds defense from Monday
I think Murray will break out soon, he's ambitious and better than he showed tonight - that was a big key, he left 8-9 points out there on shots he usually hits.
they'll be fine vs. Montana State, just amp up the defense pressure
he's passed up 3 good looks for 3s, only to take worse 3s in a couple cases. If Murray wants to play pro, he's got to hit that shot. Driving at will vs. Big West opponents alone won't cut it at the next level. so far this season, that's been the biggest thing holding him back in the first few games
