the team reminds me a bit of Knipe teams - just grind away and keep pressing until the opponent makes more mistakes
Player of the Day
have to say was most impressed by Dela Cruz, 44 digs, 11 assists - just receiving and passing with solid passes consistently putting the ball in the right spot, not only that as she showed last year she can play setter and her sets are high quality
next have to say is Morgan Chacon - we need to find schemes to not her taking as many swings as she is, great all around and she cleaned up the receiving errors in teh nightcap - just a glue player
curious Tyler stuck with Kennedy in teh middle, at teh expense of not having Bacon on the court ...will see how that progresses, I think the block is even better with Bach, Bacon, and Kennedy all in...but well I do not know what the but is so far. Kennedy did look solid tonight and can use a slide with her in
deep team, the young hitters Glenn & Jordan have a lot of reps and learning to do, good moments and some tough swings
rest up - lay it all out for Oregon, will be interesting again to see the line-up to match up to Oregon - a work in progress
I think finding a way to get O'Sullivan more swings will be needed to go at the better teams
undefeated!!!!
after 2 sets it is 1 each --- lets hope they can win the next 2 sets and rest for tomorrows game -------------
returns an experienced team with lots of starters returning that could win the Big Sky title - about 105 RPI - they would be in the upper part of the Big West - so will be like a tough Big West road match
with Chacon taking 56 swings, I do expect O'Sullivan in particular to have a solid game and get on track as regular OH
gonna be a grind to get a W with PSU playing their season opener
