I can't imagine the Pac-10 will allow USC/UCLA to compete in Beach Volleyball, they'll let them go pound sand. Same for Big West or WCC, no reason to even consider having UCLA/USC as associate members unless they were to fork over some major $$$ to join.
Water Polo: that is really tricky. Stan/Cal would not want any part of UCLA/USC, I can see the Big West or the other remaining conference being ok to have Stan/Cal as associates, it would actually make teh Big West teh premier men's water polo conference. This kills the Pac-10 MWP conference, and puts UCLA/USC in a tough spot.
WWP: MPSF keeps going
MVB: MPSF keeps going, unless UCLA/USC/PSU/Ohio State can get a couple schools added to form a BiG MVB

I believe the three sports above are not moving to the B10, according to an article I read. I'm surprised the Pac 10/12 is allowing that, if that report was accurate. Will be interesting if the Pac 10/12 ultimately dissolves. Are we going back to regional conferences for "minor sports"? Previous Message
will leave the Pac-12 in tatters, and life support for BCS stature
means more ripples coming
but the Big West bus keeps on rolling!!

No impact on the Niners, but this is going to shake up the Pac 12. This might be the end of the Pac 12 or it becomes a shell of itself...
