100 years ago, Armienians left part of the Ottoman empire in droves, albeit there was a genocide of over one million Armenians (granted, it's something the US doesn't like to poke Turkey with since it's one of those sensitive subjects)

now imagine, your grandparents came to the US after being discriminated with in greater Armenia to avoid death from that genocide, you settle in Fresno, and upon settling in Fresno, you find yourself once against discriminated against, and then you bust your butt to make a business or keep your farm while you are trying to be put out of business, and....

....your grandkids today are labeled as having 'white privilege' because well, you are white
so Jane, the next time you 'simplify' or 'gloss' over the context of history again, think about your words, use some critical thinking, and pause before you utter racist words yourself like 'white privilege' absolutism, because if I'm of Armenian descent (and I'm white!) and hear that crap from you, you have ZERO credibility. and so if you get blowback, it's not because people are racist when they push back, it's because Jane has really not thoght to think things thru. Jane has proven herself to be a racist by her words, and has yet to apologize to LB alumni for her racist & insensitive comments.

reducing racism require critical thinking, not mindless academia induced 'groupthink'

so help us George Deukmajian and Doug Krikorian and Jerry Tarkanian ...but I guess those guys had 'privilege' so let's downgrade their accomplishments
