I think players, good ones that is, can potentially make some decent money eventually at Long Beach
but guys making more in college than the pros
the BCS especially, are now nothing more than pro sports franchices
how are these guys going to be motivated to study at all, when making $800k, or even less
at least, the NCAA can no longer penalize colleges for throwing money at players, so a Long Beach could compete in that sense, the money doesn't have to be assoicated with the Univ.

Just read that the top MBB player in the transfer portal (Nigel Pack, who transfered to the Miami Hurricanes) signed a NIL deal for $800,000 over two years, plus a car. This so called amateur is making more than most of the Big West head coaches!
