Despite beating IRvine, Long Beach is NOT a lock to be in, due to categories the committee uses that swings LB more than any other team being considered.

If LB wins, LB would be the #1 seed. If LB loses, LB would still have the overall #1 or #2 best resume in terms of selecting the best team from ALL possible data of selecting the best teams. However, the NCAA selection has RPI and limited categories, and their charter is not to select the best teams, so LB needs to win.
