just defer talk on CDM status to after season ends, congrats to CDM (and Staff) on the choice, nice recognition for the school
there's a lot of data regarding this season (and last decade) that goes into the 'where do we go from here', which also has to discuss path of the Beach with NIL help for the players
one item that has been noted, which is interesting
apparently there was a 'pow-wow' with Fee and the coaches, which led to some adjustment in defense/strategy
well, if it took impetus from the AD to make coaching changes, hey, maybe Fee is the real coach of the year for instigating! Previous Message

still, I'm a surprised as much by Traore not the DPOY, but with Jones being DPOY
it says a lot about what the coaches felt Jones did as the point on the press and his perimeter defense havoc!
Traore was conference leader in boars and blocked shots, as well as a good defender, so thought he might be picked
wish Roberts had been HM as well, the missed games may have had an impact on his consideration, oh well, the bigger prize awaits

Congrats to all of our guys, just can't believe that Traore didn't get Fr of the year. Feels like Monson pushed hard, and succeeded, in getting Slater the POY award, which is awesome. Guessing Sow was very much in that conversation as well, and Mitchell (really good player) got the nod as kind of a consolation prize for UCSB. Previous Message
