interesting that in 2018 was the last year a champion (Davis) was ranked so high, and was the year Fullerton (4 seed) won the championship, that was wide open as well, as almost knocked off Fullerton in teh quarters that year

in 2016: the Big West has 4 teams inside the top 100, haven't come close since.
