you have to play one of them sooner or later. All the teams have unique match-ups. Hawaii is a team that can get hot from the 3, but I'd rather get them in the finals with the guards that we have.
I like our team in a helter skelter game in the finals.
both UCSB & Irvine guards we are better than, so the earlier we get them the better. Previous Message
I know they jumped us last time we played, but this doesn't feel like a particularly good UCI team by comparison to what we've seen. Clearly they have some size we don't, but they seem a little soft...something Turner's been pretty open about noting (maybe for effect). UCSB's won 8 of 9, with a couple of blowouts and none of the wins by less than 5 points, so I'll be a little surprised if that's not who we see. Would prefer to see them on the other side of the bracket TBH.

To me, the second round is the danger zone. We should win our first game, then we get the winner of SB and Irvine. Both those teams have beaten us. If we get past that game, the finals look easier by comparison. Previous Message
per massey, about 20%, which makes sense, we have the easiest path to the semis, but the semis and finals are all toss-up match-ups for the top 6 teams, there's never been a more evenly matched tournament.
we have the guards, all those other 5 teams have clear post presence Previous Message
